The Story of KIRO
I started KIRO from my tiny bedroom in North London as a side hustle whilst I studied for my Master's Degree. However, everything changed when I launched our brand's TikTok account a month later. The demand was crazy and I knew I had something great on my hands. This is the story:
July 2020
Launch day
KIRO started with 1 map necklace and a dream. I wanted to design an Egypt necklace that I actually liked and one that I never had to take off. I was a team of 1 doing everything on my own but as much as it was tough, I had the most fun growing KIRO at the start until I quickly outgrew my home and needed to move into a bigger space.
2021
Started building a Team
TikTok was a big part of my growth journey and in 2021 when COVID restrictions were starting to lift, I was able to move my business out of my home and into an office and I spent the next 2 years building a team and meeting customers through our first pop up shops!
2023
THAT British Museum Campaign
In the last year we expanded both the team and the jewellery. We expanded Egyptian Collection to bring pieces like the Scarab Ring and our Charm Bracelet . We also filmed our favourite and most viral campaign yet - KIRO takes the British Museum!
